Safety & Sustainability
The steps Cerf Club is taking to protect our customers, our team, and our planet
Food Preparation & Handling
Our team rigorously follows the latest guidelines regarding food handling and social distancing. COVID-19-specific measures include:
Frequent handwashing and disinfection of high-contact surfaces
Wearing masks and gloves
Scheduling shifts to minimize the number of staff on site at any given time
Checking each team member’s symptoms when they arrive on site
Positioning workstations at least 6 feet apart
Sustainability
As our business finds new ways to serve you, we are proud to uphold our commitment to environmentally-friendly practices.
We partner with brands who share our values and exercise sustainable agriculture, animal welfare, production and packaging practices.
All Cerf Club Provisions packaging is either reusable, recyclable or compostable.
We encourage our pickup customers to bring their own bags or boxes to retrieve their orders and are pleased to offer a way for you to do this safely.
Zero Foodprint
Cerf Club is a proud participant in California’s Zero Foodprint (ZFP) initiative. Spearheaded by a collective of thought-leading chefs and farmers, and supported by California EPA, California Air Resource Board and California Food & Agriculture, ZFP invests in climate beneficial farming practices to offset greenhouse gas emissions. We contribute 1% of all food & beverage revenue to these programs via ZFP.
